Psychiatric disability, employment and the Americans with Disabilities Act

Psychiatr Clin North Am. 1999 Mar;22(1):147-58. doi: 10.1016/s0193-953x(05)70065-4.

Abstract

Understanding the ADA as it applies to employment is necessary for a psychiatrist to be useful in the assessment of disability under the ADA. As more claims are brought into the courtroom, the growing body of case law will further elucidate the fine points of interpretation of the ADA.
