The Journal has retracted: Tryniszewski T. Misclassifying Ego-Syntonic Violence as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. J Am Acad Psychiatry Law. 2026 Jun;54(2):224-31. DOI:10.29158/JAAPL.260036-26. Upon investigating a concern raised by a third party about the reporting on one case discussed in this article, the editors found that the conclusions expressed were not supported by the document cited as its source. Therefore, the editors are no longer able to maintain confidence in the article, and have decided to retract it.
