AB  - The forensic psychiatrist's efforts to strive for objectivity may be impaired by unrecognized unconscious biases. The author presents a framework for understanding such biases. He then offers a practical approach for individual forensic psychiatrists who want to identify and minimize the influence of previously unrecognized biases on their evaluations.
