The use of intravenous sodium amytal in psychogenic amnesic states

Summary

Intravenous sodium amytal is of value in the treatment of psychogenic amnesic states. It is often effective where simple hypnosis fails. The physiological mechanism by which sodium amytal produces its psychological effects is indicated.
