In this regard, our results indicate a potential association between the Internet addiction disorder and impulsivity, which is supported by previous studies (Cao, Su, Liu, & Gao, 2007; Lin & Tsai, 2002; Treuer, Fábián, & Füredi, 2001). Rash impulsiveness, which is the other major component of impulsivity, refers to a tendency to act rashly and without consideration of consequences.
