    Common Application Process Summary Timeline for 2022–2023 Fellowship Year

    Timeline
    Application submission period: Begins as early as January 2021 and continues until the program fills (date varies by program).
    April 1, 2021: First day that programs can conduct interviews.
    June 1, 2021: First day that applicants can be asked to accept or decline offers for 2022–2023 fellowship positions, with exemption of “internal” candidates.
