Luce Chair in Law and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University’s School of Law and Medicine; he is a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and author of books and articles on legal psychiatry, and is the winner of the 1976 Isaac Ray Award of the American Psychiatric Association. The Luce Chair sponsors an annual Interdisciplinary Symposium in Law and Behavioral Sciences; Dr. Robitscher was program chairman, working with Lloyd Baccus, M.D., Martin J. Rotter, and DeWitt Alfred, Jr., M.D., and helped develop the format of the 1977 symposium on Battered Wives and Battered Children.
