↵* Since his retirement as Superintendent of Herstedvester, Dr. Stürup has maintained his interest in transsexuality and sex reassignment surgery. He has been studying problems in patients with Parkinsonism, particularly the influence of hope and despair in the face of a threatened disability. His paper entitled “Indeterminancy as Individualization” was published in the San Diego Law Review in 1977. See also the introductory list of Isaac Ray Award winners.
